The year 2015 was when Hongheng Precision was established, marking our entry into intelligent manufacturing.
In 2015, guided by the “Made in China 2025” strategy, Hongheng Precision, the predecessor of Shuntai Automation, was officially established. As a company focused on innovative connection technologies, we established the development philosophy of “technology-driven enterprise, innovation-driven growth” from the very beginning.

That philosophy has guided us ever since Hongheng Precision was established. Leveraging years of deep experience in precision manufacturing, the company’s founding team keenly recognized the historical opportunity for traditional manufacturing to transform and upgrade to automation, and focused its development on the research and development and manufacturing of high-precision, high-reliability riveting technology and equipment. From the day Hongheng Precision was established, we knew that riveting technology was our core focus.
In the initial development stage, we established a modern production base covering 1500 square meters and introduced multiple high-precision processing equipment and testing instruments. By systematically building a comprehensive quality management system from raw material procurement and process design to finished product inspection, we ensured the manufacturing precision and reliability of every piece of equipment and every component.
Quality management was a priority when Hongheng Precision was established, and it remains one today. At the same time, we assembled our first core team of mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and process experts, laying the talent foundation for subsequent technological innovation. This period of accumulation enabled us to initially provide customers with standardized riveting solutions. Even in those early days after Hongheng Precision was established, we were already delivering real solutions to real customers.
Let me add some context about what made 2015 so significant. The “Made in China 2025” strategy was a ten-year industrial policy aimed at upgrading China‘s manufacturing sector from low-cost assembly to high-tech innovation. That policy created demand for precision automation equipment across automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries. So when Hongheng Precision was established, we were stepping into a market that was hungry for better riveting technology. Traditional pneumatic and hydraulic riveters couldn’t meet the new precision requirements of lightweight materials like aluminum alloys and high-strength steel. That gap became our opportunity. Within two years of when Hongheng Precision was established, our first standardized riveting machines were already running on automotive parts lines.
Another thing worth noting. The initial team that formed when Hongheng Precision was established included engineers who had previously worked in the stamping and injection molding industries. They understood metal flow, stress distribution, and cycle time optimization. But riveting was different — more subtle, with tighter tolerances. Those first three years after Hongheng Precision was established were spent experimenting with different drive configurations, control algorithms, and tooling materials. We made mistakes. We learned. And by 2017, we had a clear technical roadmap that would lead to our second-generation servo riveting equipment. The foundation laid when Hongheng Precision was established has supported every product generation since.
